The 10th edition of Italian Design Icons (IDI) was successfully held at 800 Show in Jing’an District, Shanghai.

Marking a significant milestone, this anniversary edition reaffirmed IDI’s role as a leading platform showcasing the excellence of Italian design in China. Under the theme “Design for a Better Life,” the event celebrated a decade of Italian creativity, innovation, and cross-cultural dialogue, highlighting the intersection of design, technology, and sustainability.

IDI once again partnered with the Shanghai International Design Festival (SIDF), further strengthening their strategic collaboration and shared vision to promote sustainability, inclusivity, and forward-thinking creativity. In parallel, Pirelli hosted an exclusive closed-door event dedicated to sustainable living, offering selected guests an intimate setting to explore innovation, responsibility, and future lifestyle perspectives.
The opening day featured an exclusive VIP Dinner at Shanghai’s J Hotel, bringing together more than seventy distinguished guests from leading brands, institutions, and academia. Set against the breathtaking skyline, the evening created a refined atmosphere for meaningful conversations, knowledge exchange, and new collaborations, seamlessly blending design, business, and culture. On Saturday evening, IDI hosted an elegant VIP Cocktail Party at 800 Show, gathering industry leaders, design innovators, and key partners for an evening of networking and connection.
